95%
of participants had serum iron levels in normal range.†§
Why it matters
Iron status before pregnancy is important for reproductive health and building sufficient reserves ahead of pregnancy. Having healthy iron status at conception is beneficial, as pregnancy significantly increases iron requirements due to the need to support the growing fetus, placenta, and increased maternal blood volume.*
96%
of participants had serum folate levels in the recommended range.†‡
Why it matters
Folate is the most critical nutrient to focus on ahead of pregnancy, as it plays a vital role in neural tube development. The neural tube, which forms the baby's brain and spinal cord, closes during the first few weeks of pregnancy—often before someone knows they are pregnant. Optimal folate levels before conception is crucial because your baby's most critical brain and spinal cord development occurs so early in pregnancy.*
96%
of participants had B12 in optimal range for healthy pregnancy.†
Why it matters
Often overlooked, vitamin B12 is crucial during conception because it supports neural tube development in the early stages of pregnancy, independently of folate. Adequate B12 levels are also important for having healthy red blood cells. Supplementation is especially important for certain groups, such as those following vegetarian or vegan diets, who may be at higher risk for deficiency.*
39%
improvement in omega ratio
in participants.
Why it matters
Getting the right balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids is especially important when trying to conceive and throughout pregnancy. Omega-3’s help to support the body’s inflammatory response to create a healthy reproductive environment. In addition, these essential fats are stored in the body and support healthy pregnancy outcomes.*
†Based on a 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in 60 healthy women aged 21-40 with regular cycles and not using hormonal birth control.
‡Recommended serum folate recommended for healthy conception and early fetal development is 15nmol/L.
§Normal serum iron minimum is 10.7 mmol/L.
||Normal vitamin B12 for healthy pregnancy is 300ng/L

KEY INGREDIENTS
Iron | 16 mg of Iron as Ferrochel®
Iron | 16 mg of Iron as Ferrochel®
Iron intake before pregnancy helps build your reserves–during pregnancy, your body needs more iron and your stores can quickly become depleted. We've included a moderate dose of gentle on the stomach iron to help establish your stores without discomfort.
Folate | 700mcg DFE as Methylfolate
Folate | 700mcg DFE as Methylfolate
We use Methylfolate, the active form of folic acid, which is clinically proven to increase serum folate levels. Folate is most important in the first few weeks of pregnancy to close the neural tube–but this is before known pregnancy. Starting folate supplementation during the preconception phase is key to optimizing folate status and supporting a healthy pregnancy.
Choline | 120 mg of Choline as VitaCholine®
Choline | 120 mg of Choline as VitaCholine®
Optimal choline is needed before a woman knows she is pregnant to support healthy fetal neural tube development, making supplementation before conception crucial—especially since only 6% of women meet daily needs.
Iodine | 150 mcg of Iodine
Iodine | 150 mcg of Iodine
Iodine supports healthy thyroid function, which is important for overall hormonal health, but iodine intake in the US is declining. Iodine supplementation is recommended for at least 3 months prior to conception to ensure optimal levels before pregnancy, where it becomes important for the baby's developing brain.
Vitamin D | 2,000 IU Vitamin D
Vitamin D | 2,000 IU Vitamin D
Vitamin D is important for immune health, but also beneficial for reproductive health and boosting stores ahead of pregnancy. More than 50% of women have insufficient Vitamin D levels which is why we provide 2,000 IU Vitamin D to promote optimal levels ahead of a healthy pregnancy.
STAGE-SPECIFIC INGREDIENTS
Folate | 825 DFE of Additional Methylfolate
Folate | 825 DFE of Additional Methylfolate
Folate is most important in the first few weeks of pregnancy to close the neural tube - but this critical time is before known pregnancy. For this reason, we have added additional folate as the bioavailable format of methylfolate.
CoQ10 | 50 mg of CoQ10
CoQ10 | 50 mg of CoQ10
Oocytes (egg cells) contain more mitochondria than any other cell in the female body. CoQ10 plays a critical role in these mitochondria and supporting reproductive health.
